HEALTH & SAFETY WAIVER

By attending a class with Yanar Mind & Movement, you confirm that you have read and understood the health & safety waiver outlined below.

  • You acknowledge that yoga therapy involves physical movement, breathwork, meditation, talking therapy, self-reflection and self-study. You confirm your ability to participate in these activities to the best of your capacity.

  • If you are uncertain or have questions about any of the practices, you will consult YMM and/or a healthcare practitioner for guidance and adhere to their advice.

  • You accept full responsibility for any injuries you may sustain during a session or class. If at any time during the session you feel discomfort or strain, you must let YMM know. You may rest at any time. It is important that you listen to your body and respect its limits on any given day.

  • You are aware that yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. If required, you should consult a healthcare professional prior to beginning any exercise programme, including yoga. 

  • You recognise that it is your responsibility to notify the teacher of any serious illness or injury before every yoga class, and you will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain.

  • You accept that neither the teacher nor the hosting facility is liable for any injury or damages to person or property, resulting from the taking of the class.

  • If you are under the age of 18, please request a liability waiver form to be signed by a parent or guardian.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Non-attendance is not refundable.

  • Non-attendance is not refundable.

  • In-person sessions have a 12-hour cancellation notice period in place.

  • All cancellations for in-person sessions carry an non-negotiable fee of £25 payable to the hosting facility.   

  • For online sessions a 4-hour cancellation notice period is in place. No fee is charged. 

  • You will be able to cancel your session if it is within the time frame of the cancellation notice period, and a credit will be available to use another time.

  • For courses, workshops and retreats a 24-hour cancellation notice period is in place. A refund or class credit can be issues minus 20% administration of total cost.  

  • Please note that class credits are non-refundable.
